What We Believe

We believe in one God eternally existing as one essence and three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, each of whom is fully God, yet there is one God. (Deut. 6:4, John 1:1-3, Matt. 3:16-17, 2 Cor. 13:14)

We believe that God has made Himself known to the world in Jesus Christ, the Scriptures and creation. (John 17:17, 2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:21, Heb. 1:3)

We believe that God created the world from nothing and governs all things at all times in all places. (Gen. 1:1, Prov. 16:4, Acts 17:24, Col. 1:16-17)

We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God and possess intrinsic dignity and worth. (Gen. 1:26-27)

We believe that sin has fractured all things, leaving the world in desperate need for salvation. (Rom. 3:10, 23, 6:23, Eph. 4:18, 1 John 1:8-10, Gal. 5:16-17)

We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. (1 Pet. 1:18-19, Eph 2:8-9, Tit. 3:5, Eph. 4:32, Rom. 5:1)

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ sent into the world to shine forth The glory of God. (Jer. 31:31, 1 Cor. 12:13, Heb. 13:17, 1 Cor. 11:23-28)

We believe that Jesus Christ is returning to the world in the future to judge the living and the dead. (Isa. 65-66, 1 Cor. 15:24-28, 2 Thess. 1:5-10, Heb. 9:27, Rev. 20-22)
