We teach through books of the Bible and unpack the meaning of each verse and passage (expository preaching) as well as considering how the text points us to Christ and the gospel. We pray that every message is faithful to Scripture, exalts Jesus, honors God, and is spiritually helpful for those who listen.

Sacred Ordinances

We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordained by the Lord Jesus himself. The former is connected with entrance into the new covenant community, the latter with ongoing covenant renewal. Together they are simultaneously God’s pledge to us, divinely ordained means of grace, our public vows of submission to the once crucified and now resurrected Christ, and anticipations of his return and of the consummation of all things. (Matt. 28:19-20, 1 Cor. 12:13, 1 Pet. 3:21, Col. 2:12, Eph. 4:5, Rom. 6:4)
