Let us know you're visiting
YOU ARE WELCOME HERE
Church can be an intimidating place to visit, especially if you don’t know what to expect. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services. We hope that through visiting our church you will experience the hope, love, and joy that come from a community of imperfect people who love Jesus and are being changed by his grace.
MEETING TIME AND LOCATION
We have our worship services on Sunday mornings at 11:00am, and we meet on the corner of 12th and Chicon (1190 Chicon St.) in the heart of East Austin. There is a gated parking lot right outside our building with plenty of space to park, as well as street parking on Chicon. The parking lot is free on Sunday's and other church events, but is pay-to-park during all other times.

WHAT TO EXPECT
General atmosphere and attire – We are a friendly, diverse, multi-cultural church with people from many backgrounds and ethnicities. You can expect to see a mix of people from different ages, races, and walks of life, all coming together as a church family. We welcome you to come as you are and connect with us as we journey toward knowing Jesus more and more. Feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in!
Worship service – Our services begin with a call to worship and involve reading Scripture, singing, confession, prayer, preaching, communion, and then close with a benediction (more info here). We are committed to "teaching the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:27) through exegetical, expositional preaching that is Bible-based and Christ-centered (check out some of our sermons here).
Children – Families are free to bring their children into the service and worship together (more info here), or make use of our nursery for 0-4 year old children where they will hear a Bible story, learn a Bible verse, sing songs, and play some fun games with other children. If you would like to check a child into the nursery, please try to arrive a few minutes early and head to our nursery check-in table in the cafe area next to the sanctuary.
Fellowship and questions (after church) – After our worship service (about an hour and thirty minutes total), some of our leaders will be available in the sanctuary or cafe area for fellowship, and are happy to meet with you about any questions you might have about God, our church, or our community. Going to lunch together afterward is encouraged! If you are skeptical of Christianity, we are not afraid of questions, and would love to be a resource for you on your journey and struggle with faith.
