We would love for you to visit us for one of our Sunday services, 11:00am at 1190 Chicon St. If you have any questions you can email us at email@example.com, and you can watch or read below to get a sense of what to expect on Sunday.
YOU ARE WELCOME HERE
Church can be an intimidating place to visit, especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of imperfect people who love Jesus.
MEETING TIME AND LOCATION
We gather for worship on Sunday mornings from 11:00am to 12:30pm on the corner of 12th and Chicon (1190 Chicon St.). We meet in an old, white church building. There is a gated parking lot right outside our building with plenty of space to park, as well as street parking on Chicon. The parking lot is free on Sunday's & during weekday church events, but is pay to park during all other times.
WHAT TO EXPECT
General atmosphere – We are a friendly, diverse church with people from many backgrounds. You can expect to see a mix of people from different ages, races, and walks of life, all coming together as a church family. We welcome you to come as you are and connect with us as we journey toward knowing Jesus more and more.
Worship service (11:00am to 12:30pm) – Our services begin with a call to worship and involve reading Scripture, singing, confession, prayer, preaching, communion, and then close with a benediction. For more details on our service you can look here. Families are free to bring their children into the service and worship together, or check small children (0-4) into our nursery. For more details on this, you can look here.
Fellowship & questions (after church) – After our worship service (about an hour and thirty minutes total), some of our leaders will be available in the sanctuary or cafe area for fellowship, and are happy to meet with you about any questions you might have about God, our church, or our community. Going to lunch together afterward is encouraged! If you are skeptical of Christianity, we are not afraid of questions, and would love to be a resource for you on your journey and struggle with faith.
